TRACO Power TIM 3.5 and TIM 3.5SM Series DC/DC Converters are regulated 3.5W high-performance DC/DC converters with a reinforced 5000VACrms isolation for medical applications. The reinforced I/O-isolation system complies with the medical safety requirements for 2 × Means of Patient Protection (MOPP) according to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition. These converters feature less than 2µA leakage current and are designed to insulate electrical equipment from the applied parts to the patient (BF classification).
