Vishay Semiconductors VCNL3040 Proximity Sensor integrates a Proximity Sensor and a high power IRED (InfraRed Emitting Diode) into one small package. It incorporates photodiodes, amplifiers, and Analog to Digital Conversion (ADC) circuits into a single chip by CMOS process. The VCNL3040 also features a programmable interrupt function for Proximity Sensing (PS) with individual high and low thresholds.
